Established by Juliette Banner in 1992, we quickly became Crouch Ends’ favourite family restaurant by day and the most relaxing, unpretentious diner by night.

Our food

Tim Peterman, our head chef, has aspired throughout his 20 years at Banner's to create Global Home Cooking that both satisfies the tummy and delights the taste buds. This comes through loud and clear in his dynamic and exciting menus.

This aspiration for fresh new flavours is reflected in the eclectic mix of cocktails, wines and beers to be found on our extensive drinks list. Our cocktail list includes genuine Brazilian batidas and Chilean pisco sours. Beers come from Japan , Mexico, Spain, Belgium, Lapland and more. Our wine list features favourites of many and some little known gems for those adventurous types.

Kids

Children of all ages are very welcome. Our children’s menu offers fresh, unprocessed food and our smoothies, milkshakes and fresh juices all come in children’s portions.

Banner's provides crayons and paper, books and even a few toys. Highchairs are also available but in limited supply, so when booking please let us know if you need one.

We don’t have a lot of space however and unfortunately cannot offer any play area, so we do ask that children remain at the table. We also ask that all pushchairs are folded down.

Tap in to Wateraid

Since 2005 Banner's has been supporting Wateraid through “Tap Into Wateraid” with the help of our customers. For each glass of tap water we serve, customers are encouraged to make a donation of 15p. We have, since 2005, managed to raise over £40,000!!

Wateraid is a leading independent organisation that enables the worlds poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. These basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods and form the first essential step in overcoming poverty.
